This was taken at a local park. This was ordered in a larger format for hanging on my wall. I think it is beautiful. I love the way her dress drapes over the rocks.
It had rained a little when they arrived at the park. A little slippery slope they had to maneuver. I love the carefree look on their faces and how happy they looked. Another favorite photo.
Here you don't get to see the bride and groom well, but I wanted to show the special effects the photographer used. He somehow made the pews disappear and made the floor look like ice with the reflection of the alter reflecting off the floor. I love the effect. Talented photographer.

Wedding

I'm showing off my son and my beautiful new daughter-in-law, Annamaria. They were married on August 6, 2011. What a wonderful day! Despite the prediction of moderately heavy rain we only got a slight drizzle. The brides family hosted a wonderful event and everyone praised the day. The wedding took place at a beautiful church, as you can see in one of the pictures above, and the reception was held at Mallozzi's restaurant where the staff did a wonderful job with the decorations; and the food was bountiful and tremendous. I, for one, just could not eat all of what was served. Of course there were the regular multiple courses of the meal to include soup, salad, pasta, (chicken, salmon, or prime rib for the entree) and the wedding cake of course. But, it did not end there. The best was yet to come...two full viennes tables were wheeled out on to the dance floor, for the approval of the bride and groom, loaded with multiple choices of Italian cakes, cookies and pastries. WOW, what a feast it was!
This picture includes Jared's dad, the bride (Annamaria), my son (Jared) and myself.

New Blog

Welcome to my blog. I've been working on this for a little while but haven't had the time to commit to really getting it up and running. This, I am hoping, is about to change.  I really enjoy paper crafts especially altered trading cards, moo cards, skinny pages, etc. I recently began trying my hand at mixed media arts and find that to be an interesting adventure also. Please feel free to look around. There is a slide show on the left hand side of the page. If you click on it, it will take you to some examples of my work. Some of the images are a little blurry (time to invest in a new camera I guess) but others are fine. Either way you will get an idea of what I like to do. Take time to check out the list of blogs I follow and I think you'll have a pleasant trip. Great work by artists I enjoy following. Thank you for your visit and I'll be back soon. Follow me by email and get updates only when I post or become a follower..just click on the link on the bottom right. Have a great day.
